product details and
data sheets...

Contains 1.5% TR3799 metaldehyde.

Excellent control of slugs and snails on all edible and non edible crops and bare ground with no harvest interval except on potatoes (14 days) and cauliflower (28 days) with up to 11 applications on potatoes at 4 kg product/ha and 6 applications at 7.5 kg product/ha.

The TR3799 Wet Process uses very finely milled and coated metaldehyde and gives hard dust free pellets which are small and even in size which means:

  • At 7.5 kg per hectare (112.5 g.a.s./ha) there are approximately 150 baiting points/m2 and at 4 kg per hectare (60 g a.s./ha) the figure is approximately 80 baiting points/m2, more than any 3% pellet at the same rate
  • Controls all generations of slugs including the grey Field Slug (Derocerus reticulatum) and the Black Garden Slug (Arion hortensis) and snails
  • Using TR3799 metaldehyde means that very low dose rates may be used thus allowing farmers the flexibility to control slugs and snails within the new Maximum Residue Levels set by the EU
  • Whilst maintaining the same slug control in the field, huge reductions in the use of active ingredient will give a very positive help to the environment and particularly the problem of metaldehyde in water
  • Chiltern slug pellets contain Guardsman, an effective repellent for both birds and mammals thus lessening the environmental impact.
  • As with most brands of pellets, Attract will spread acceptably with electro-broadcasters fitted to Quad bikes with the most even spread being at 12 metre centres. Attract pellets are particularly suited to airflow machines such as the Techneat Outcast which will apply evenly to 24 metres. It is advisable to check applicator spread width, pattern and output prior to use.
  • Attract is classified as non-hazardous and hence there is no CLP requirement for storage and transport
  • Recommended for Assured Crop Schemes and the Voluntary Initiative, contains a food approved not copper containing dye.
  • Packed in EASY OPEN 20 kg HDPE non slip sacks to avoid pellets being trapped in gussets and easier disposal through licensed waste disposal operators
  • All recommendations fall easily within the 700 g a.s./ha maximum total rate of use for metaldehyde per year

Recommended for Assured Crop Schemes and the Voluntary Initiative, contains a food approved not copper containing dye.

Use plant protection products safely. Always read the label and product information before use.
